Psychiatrists/Physicians admit—Disorders are not a “Disease”

Psychiatrists/Physicians admit—Disorders are not a “Disease”

Read ‘Mental Disorders: The Facts Behind the Billion Dollar Marketing Campaign’ here
real-disease-vs-mental-disorder.

“There are no objective tests in psychiatry-no X-ray, laboratory, or exam finding that says definitively that someone does or does not have a mental disorder.” “there is no definition of a mental disorder. It’s bull—. I mean, you just can’t define it.” — Allen Frances, Psychiatrist and former DSM-IV Task Force Chairman

“While DSM has been described as a ‘Bible’ for the field, it is, at best, a dictionary…. The weakness is its lack of validity. Unlike our definitions of ischemic heart disease, lymphoma, or AIDS, the DSM diagnoses are based on a consensus about clusters of clinical symptoms, not any objective laboratory measure. In the rest of medicine, this would be equivalent to creating diagnostic systems based on the nature of chest pain or the quality of fever.” — Thomas Insel, Director of the National Institute of Mental Health

“Virtually anyone at any given time can meet the criteria for bipolar disorder or ADHD. Anyone. And the problem is everyone diagnosed with even one of these ‘illnesses’ triggers the pill dispenser.” — Dr. Stefan Kruszewski, Psychiatrist

“Despite more than two hundred years of intensive research, no commonly diagnosed psychiatric disorders have proven to be either genetic or biological in origin, including schizophrenia, major depression, manic-depressive disorder, the various anxiety disorders, and childhood disorders such as attention-deficit hyperactivity. At present there are no known biochemical imbalances in the brain of typical psychiatric patients—until they are given psychiatric drugs.” — Peter Breggin, Psychiatrist

While “there has been no shortage of alleged biochemical explanations for psychiatric conditions…not one has been proven. Quite the contrary. In every instance where such an imbalance was thought to have been found, it was later proven false.” — Dr. Joseph Glenmullen, Harvard Medical School psychiatrist

“The theories are held on to not only because there is nothing else to take their place, but also because they are useful in promoting drug treatment.” — Dr. Elliott Valenstein Ph.D., author of Blaming the Brain

“There is no blood or other biological test to ascertain the presence or absence of a mental illness, as there is for most bodily diseases. If such a test were developed … then the condition would cease to be a mental illness and would be classified, instead, as a symptom of a bodily disease.” — Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, New York University Medical School, Syracuse

“We do not have an independent, valid test for ADHD, and there are no data to indicate ADHD is due to a brain malfunction.” — Final statement of the panel from the National Institutes of Health Consensus Conference on ADHD
“The way things get into the DSM is not based on blood test or brain scan or physical findings. It’s based on descriptions of behavior. And that’s what the whole psychiatry system is.” — Dr Colin Ross, Psychiatrist

“Psychiatry has never been driven by science. They have no biological or genetic basis for these illnesses and the National Institutes of Mental Health are totally committed to the pharmacological line. … There is a great deal of scientific evidence that stimulants cause brain damage with long-term use, yet there is no evidence that these mental illnesses, such as ADHD, exist.” — Peter Breggin, Psychiatrist

“No claim for a gene for a psychiatric condition has stood the test of time, in spite of popular misinformation.” — Dr. Joseph Glenmullen, Harvard Medical School psychiatrist

“In reality, psychiatric diagnosing is a kind of spiritual profiling that can destroy lives and frequently does.” — Peter Breggin, Psychiatrist

“…modern psychiatry has yet to convincingly prove the genetic/biologic cause of any single mental illness…Patients [have] been diagnosed with ‘chemical imbalances’ despite the fact that no test exists to support such a claim, and…there is no real conception of what a correct chemical balance would look like.” — Dr. David Kaiser, Psychiatrist

“There’s no biological imbalance. When people come to me and they say, ‘I have a biochemical imbalance,’ I say, ‘Show me your lab tests.’ There are no lab tests. So what’s the biochemical imbalance?” — Dr. Ron Leifer, Psychiatrist

“No behavior or misbehavior is a disease or can be a disease. That’s not what diseases are. Diseases are malfunctions of the human body, of the heart, the liver, the kidney, the brain. Typhoid fever is a disease. Spring fever is not a disease; it is a figure of speech, a metaphoric disease. All mental diseases are metaphoric diseases, misrepresented as real diseases and mistaken for real diseases.” — Thomas Szasz, Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus

“It has occurred to me with forcible irony that psychiatry has quite literally lost its mind, and along with it the minds of the patients they are presumably suppose to care for.”— David Kaiser, Psychiatrist

“DSM-IV is the fabrication upon which psychiatry seeks acceptance by medicine in general. Insiders know it is more a political than scientific document… DSM-IV has become a bible and a money making bestseller—its major failings notwithstanding.”— Loren Mosher, M.D., Clinical Professor of Psychiatry

“All psychiatrists have in common that when they are caught on camera or on microphone, they cower and admit that there are no such things as chemical imbalances/diseases, or examinations or tests for them. What they do in practice, lying in every instance, abrogating [revoking] the informed consent right of every patient and poisoning them in the name of ‘treatment’ is nothing short of criminal.”— Dr. Fred Baughman Jr., Pediatric Neurologist

“Psychiatry makes unproven claims that depression, bipolar illness, anxiety, alcoholism and a host of other disorders are in fact primarily biologic and probably genetic in origin…This kind of faith in science and progress is staggering, not to mention naïve and perhaps delusional.” — Dr. David Kaiser, psychiatrist

“In short, the whole business of creating psychiatric categories of ‘disease,’ formalizing them with consensus, and subsequently ascribing diagnostic codes to them, which in turn leads to their use for insurance billing, is nothing but an extended racket furnishing psychiatry a pseudo-scientific aura. The perpetrators are, of course, feeding at the public trough.”— Dr. Thomas Dorman, internist and member of the Royal College of Physicians of the UK

“I believe, until the public and psychiatry itself see that DSM labels are not only useless as medical ‘diagnoses’ but also have the potential to do great harm—particularly when they are used as means to deny individual freedoms, or as weapons by psychiatrists acting as hired guns for the legal system.” — Dr. Sydney Walker III, psychiatrist

“The way things get into the DSM is not based on blood test or brain scan or physical findings. It’s based on descriptions of behavior. And that’s what the whole psychiatry system is.”— Dr. Colin Ross, psychiatrist

“No biochemical, neurological, or genetic markers have been found for Attention Deficit Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Depression, Schizophrenia, anxiety, compulsive alcohol and drug abuse, overeating, gambling or any other so-called mental illness, disease, or disorder.” — Bruce Levine, Ph.D., psychologist and author of Commonsense Rebellion

“Unlike medical diagnoses that convey a probable cause, appropriate treatment and likely prognosis, the disorders listed in DSM-IV [and ICD-10] are terms arrived at through peer consensus.”— Tana Dineen Ph.D., psychologist

“It’s not science. It’s politics and economics. That’s what psychiatry is: politics and economics. Behavior control, it is not science, it is not medicine.”— Thomas Szasz, Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus

FORBIDDEN SECRETS MKULTRA PART 1

Disgusting Practice of CIA Mind Control of Children

The most disgusting and sickening practice this world has ever known is the practice of Mind Control. The vulnerability of children is one of the reasons that the CIA and other intelligence agencies have played a key role in the creation of ‘mainstream’ satanic groups such as the OTO and the Temple of Set, as well as in denying the existence of underground satanic cults and satanic crime.

Dr. Henry Makow gave the following report of Brice Taylor and Cathy O’brien who were two illuminati mind control victims. These two women were tortured, brainwashed and prostituted by the Illuminati and they paint a disturbing picture of how the world is really run. Both say they were prostituted to world leaders as children. Brice Taylor, author of Thanks for the Memories (1999) and Cathy O’Brien (with Mark Phillips) author of Trance-Formation of America (1995).
These books are consistent and confirm the revelations of Illuminati programmer “Svali” (“Illuminati Defector Details Pervasive Conspiracy.”) If you want to understand the world, you must read these three women.
Essentially every country is run by a shadow government, which owes its loyalty to the New World Order controlled by a 13-member Illuminati Council.

Our political leaders are chosen by their moral frailties, blackmail-ability, and willingness to advance the Illuminati plan. Strings are pulled and they mysteriously rise to prominence. It doesn’t matter which party they belong to. They secretly serve the “Cause.”

Many are products of a life that may include pedophilia, drug trafficking and consumption, child pornography, bestiality, mind control, rape, torture, satanic rituals and human sacrifices. They are given many opportunities to indulge their perversities, which ensure continued obedience and solidarity.
Drug trafficking, white slavery, prostitution and pornography finances secret New World Order programs. Elements in the CIA, FBI, Coast Guard, Military, and police are all involved, as is the Mafia.
This information may upset or enrage some people. The torture and depravity they describe is excruciating. Even writing about it is difficult.

Satanism and the CIA: International Trafficking in Children (5 PARTS)

Satanism and the CIA: International Trafficking in Children (Part 1/5)

Ted Gunderson shows the link between Satanic ritual abuse, drug trafficking
and the international trafficking in children by the CIA, during an interview from 1987.

Third step: to not wish

The child is placed in a room with favorite toys, or objects. A kind adult comes into the room and engages the child in play. This adult my be a friend, aunt, parent, or trainer. The child and adult may engage in fantasy play about the child's secret wishes, dreams, or wants. This will occur on several occasions, and the child's trust is slowly gained. At some later point, the child is severely punished for any aspect of wishing or fantasy shared with the adult, including the destruction of favorite toys, going in and undoing or destroying secret safe places the child may have created, or even destroying non cult protectors. This step is repeated, with variations, many times over the ensuing years. Occasionally, the child's siblings, parents, or friends will be used to reveal inside fantasies the child has revealed to them during the daytime, or in unguarded moments. The ostensible reason the cult gives for this step is to create a child who doesn't fantasize, who is more outwardly directed, less inwardly directed.

Understanding Ritual Abuse as a component of Mind Control

Satanic Ritual Abuse is not a random event among the 1-2% of the Global Elite that have taken over our world. It has a purpose and method that are both insidious and scientific. The Germans perfected the methodology in their concentration camps, and were then secretly imported into the United States via "Operation Paperclip". Josef Mengele, the "Angel of Death" has been sighted by many of those that broke free from the Cult. Some claim he actually did their "programming" under the alias of "Dr. Green."

Rejuvenating Abolitionism of Psychiatric Labels

Rejuvenating Abolitionism of Psychiatric Labels — Even Some Establishment Psychiatrists Embarrassed by New DSM-5

Bruce Levine, Ph.D.

February 10, 2013
After the American Psychiatric Association (APA) approved the latest version of its diagnostic bible, the DSM-5, psychiatrist Allen Frances, the former chair of the DSM-4 taskforce and currently professor emeritus at Duke, announced, “This is the saddest moment in my 45-year career of practicing, studying and teaching psychiatry” (“A Tense Compromise on Defining Disorders”).
The DSM-5 (the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) will be released by the APA in spring 2013. However, a forlorn Frances states, “My best advice to clinicians, to the press, and to the general public—be skeptical and don’t follow DSM-5 blindly down a road likely to lead to massive over-diagnosis and harmful over-medication.”

And while homosexuality was dropped from the 1980 DSM-3, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) was added, and ODD is now a popular child and adolescent diagnosis. The symptoms of ODD include “often actively defies or refuses to comply with adult requests or rules” and “often argues with adults.” Is it any more valid to label teenage rebellion and anti-authoritarianism as a mental illness than it is to label runaway slaves as mentally ill?

In a landmark 1973 study reported in Science, David Rosenhan sought to discover if psychiatry could distinguish between “normals” and those so “psychotic” they needed to be hospitalized. Eight pseudopatients were sent to twelve hospitals, all pretending to have this complaint: hearing empty and hollow voices with no clear content. All pseudopatients were able to fool staff and get hospitalized. More troubling, immediately after admission, the pseudopatients stated the voices had disappeared and they behaved as they normally would but none were immediately released. The length of their hospitalizations ranged from 7 to 52 days, with an average of 19 days, each finally discharged diagnosed with “schizophrenia in remission.”

When Kickstarter Funds A Rape Manual
STRONG TRIGGER WARNING FOR SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND ASSAULT

What does it mean to be a woman with a public online presence? A lot of the time it means finding like-minded people to make friends with, collaborate on projects with, and share your view of the world. A lot of the time it means sharing your presence and letting people know, "Yes! There are girls on the Internet!"

All of the time, it means a little bit of fear.

That fear is always riding just under the surface. On the outside, I can be casual, humorous, and love my life deeply and sincerely. But that doesn't make the fear go away. The fear is always there. It comes in the form of comments on my body when I ask people not to. It comes in the form of private messages asking for my facebook info or to "get to know me better". It comes in the form of being afraid to tell people off too harshly in case they lash out or seek revenge, or try to look up my personal information to spread on hate-sites. It means constant vulnerability. A vulnerability that I have to contend with if I am to have any online presence at all.

For me, the fear is people finding out my real name and where I live and trying to find me. There are no restraining orders on the Internet. If someone knows my name, google is all too happy to divulge where I currently am digitally, and everything I've done in the past. For better or worse, that is how the internet works. It requires us to be good people and take responsibility for our words and actions, but our morals are changing slowly, and when profits become involved, our morals are often pushed to the side or completely ignored. Everyone has to make a living, right?

Gaslighting

Gaslighting

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Ingrid Bergman in the 1944 film Gaslight
Gaslighting is a form of mental abuse in which false information is presented with the intent of making a victim doubt his or her own memory, perception and sanity.[1] Instances may range simply from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents ever occurred, up to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.
The term "gaslighting" comes from the play Gas Light and its film adaptations. The term is now also used in clinical and research literature.[2

American Free Press—Psychiatric Profession Has Lost Its Mind
CCHR used to be one of the only groups protesting psychiatry’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) for its bogus science and penchant for pathologizing all human behaviors and emotions into "disease"—a profitibale enterprise, but one completely lacking medical or scientific validity. But we are no longer alone. More and more press are catching on to the fact that there is no science to psychiatry—and even some kingpin psychiatrists are jumping on the bandwagon.

A story entitled, "Psychiatry Profession Has Lost Its Mind," states, "The new 'psychiatry bible' has been criticized by many as a testament to the insanity of the industry itself. Virtually every emotion experienced by a human being—sadness, grief, anxiety, frustration, impatience, excitement—is now being classified as a 'mental disorder' demanding chemical treatment with—you guessed it—pharmaceutical drugs.http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?llr=a4y4kndab&v=001e4MTcRpscGqOyV7mYrXBFIR7C_XfdFKfPutKqYTokUHM7AQB9OjwIPFaPvgisg5-VfzWH9cy6B5H46zZmODjGaTfzBmciv6J52zxI1gkn7kz1i6-BuU1Q6BB5XpNg3I5faSy_YK9kLtiNpBo_khhNw%3D%3D

Benevolent Sexism

The Content of Her Hair

This odd title is a deliberate botching of Martin Luther King’s famous phrase from his “I Have A Dream” speech, the part when he said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”

The content of their character. So many girls and women are still judged not by the content of their character but by their lips and their eyes. For so many women on this planet, beauty is still the only working capital.

I am fortunate to live in a place where women have opportunities for education and careers. And yet I am struggling to deal with the reality that my 5-year-old daughter has already learned that her appearance seems to be more important than her character. She is learning that for many people, her appearance is primarily who she is.

5 Ways Modern Men Are Trained to Hate Women

5 Ways Modern Men Are Trained to Hate Women By: David Wong March 27, 2012
If you're not the type to keep up with ugly, soul-killing political controversies, let me catch you up: A while back, hugely popular political commentator Rush Limbaugh lost a bunch of advertisers because he publicly called a college girl a slut and a prostitute after she suggested that health insurance plans should cover birth control. But he's paid to say outrageous things. If you really want to feel all dead inside, you need to listen to what the regular folk were saying. For instance, on crazy political message board FreeRepublic.com, posters referred to the girl in the above-referenced story (Sandra Fluke) as a "Nasty, disease-ridden plodding uterus, an utter skank crack-ho filthy whore, a prostitute slutbag juice-receptacle" and a "Sperm-burpin' gutter slut," and said she "... is so encrusted and used, that I had to throw out my flat-panel TV because her appearance on my TV infected it with AIDS, gonorrhea and syphilis." There are many, many more worse comments collected here and here and here.

A timeline of women in world computing

I thought it might be interesting to compile–so to speak–a timeline of women in computing around the world. Hopefully this can be of use as historical research or even just inspiration.
* 1800s: Ada Lovelace (1815–1852, British), was an analyst of Charles Babbage’s analytical engine (an early mechanical general-purpose computer) and is often described as the first computer programmer, since her notes on the engine include the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine.
